Xavier Luján is an artist and educator working with photography, video and installation. He is a Resident Artist at the Bakehouse Art Complex, teaches at Istituto Marangoni Miami and Roberto Mata School of Photography and holds an MFA in Advanced Photographic Studies from ICP-Bard. He is based in Miami, Fl.

  • Light. My eyes perceive light. I see the world around me because of light.

    Photography is organic, malleable, hard to pin down. One of the most interesting questions it elicits in me is how do you photograph light? How do you take a picture of something invisible? It’s always one step ahead, one step removed.
